"Before I met Heather I had a very hard time focusing and retaining information. School had always been a struggle. My mother suggested Brain Integration Therapy. I am a pretty accepting person, but I definitely had my doubts about BIT because it seemed so unusual. In the end I decided to try it, and I instantly loved it; Heather is the most amazing person and she made the process fun and interesting. And it was so therapeutic; I never wanted to leave. It honestly works! Heather was able to see why I was having issues, find the emotion attached to my learning problems, and fix them. When I started seeing her regularly, I noticed a huge change in my ability to remember information. It seemed like everything just started clicking. I started to be able to pay attention in class and I also became able to sit for an hour or however long it took to finish my homework reading. Not only did I finally start learning, I also started passing my exams. I earned a scholarship to St. John's University and graduated with a B.S. in Risk Management and Insurance. I am now a in a highly competitive training program at an insurance company and I love every minute of it!"

"I cannot begin to put into words the gratitude we have for the healing benefits BIT has provided our daughter. Belle is more confident, secure, and happy since Heather's sessions and she has a wonderful understanding of her ability and how to develop her skills further. I feel like Heather had a magic key that opened up a part of Belle that I always knew was there but could not access. We are grateful for Heather's professional yet caring approach."

"I have been swimming since the age of 10 and am on the Varsity swim team at my high school and a club team that swims year round. I wanted to work with Heather because both of my coaches were telling me that my practice times would lead to faster times at meets, yet at every meet my times wouldn't improve like my coaches said they would. I felt like I was dissapointing my coaches and my teams, which became very stressful for me. After working with Heather I competed in a sectional meet and and dropped seven seconds in my best event. I set a new club team record in the event and was one second off from an Olympic trail cut! I am now a more confident swimmer without the stress that used to weigh me down. Working with Heather was very relaxing and comfortable. She is so open and understanding; it was very easy to talk to her about how I was feeling. I would definitely recommend working with Heather to any athelete who feels they are struggling with emotional stress that could be working against their performance."

"My son has never enjoyed reading. He has always been very active and more interested in sports than sitting still. When he started having trouble with reading and wasn't able to describe what he had read, we went to see Heather to see if she could help. Heather is passionate about her work. She blends her keen intellect with insight and compassion that produces wonderful results. After working some weeks with Heather, Ben's comprehension has markedly improved. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Heather and highly recommend her without hesitation!"

"My daughter and several friends' children had successfully undergone BIT therapy with practitioners in the Midwest, so I was very pleased to find Heather in Connecticut when I decided to try BIT with my teenage son. Heather brings the understanding, patience, and perspective of a mother of three teenagers to her work. She immediately established trust and rapport with my son, who, while always a strong student, was able to strengthen his reading skills and his general ability to focus and eliminate seasonal issues that affected his school performance."
